sponsored by local Lions Clubs and may be either school affiliated
or community based.
Leo clubs provide the youth of the world an opportunity for
development and contribution, individually and collectively as
responsible members of the local, national and international
community.
To stimulate among its members acceptance of high ethical standards
To develop leadership
To provide experience through service to
the community
To provide an opportunity to promote
international understanding
Leo clubs provide service activities
among the youth of the community which will develop the individuals
qualities of Leadership, Experience and Opportunity.
Main
Activities
Leo's enjoy
opportunities to experience life's many challenges, and want to
learn from those experiences. They are young people who like to have
fun, and at the same time help those less fortunate than themselves.
Leo's are alive, aware, caring, interested in personal development,
prepared to help, and our Leaders of tomorrow. Typical projects
include the environment, helping the elderly, the infirm and the
young, fundraising for those in need, and assisting the Lions Clubs
and other service organisations with youthful enthusiasm.
